What's on the card

A man carries a bundle of ten heavy wands in front of him, bent under their weight. Ahead you can see a house or a small town he is walking toward.

Ten of Wands upright

The Ten of Wands is a load that has grown too heavy: tasks, duties, other people's work. It weighs you down, but the goal is close, and you can see what to hand off. The card asks you to sort the load rather than haul it at any cost. If three projects sit on your desk, list them and ask your manager which one can go to someone else.

Ten of Wands reversed

You're starting to notice how much extra you took on, and you're learning to say no. Sometimes the card points to built-up tiredness that's time to admit. Drop one duty this week and don't take a new one in its place.

Ten of Wands in love and relationships

In a couple, one partner may be carrying the housework, the money or the care of relatives. It's time to split the duties out loud, item by item. Someone single could free up time for dates, or there's simply no room to meet anyone.

Ten of Wands in career and money

There are more tasks than the workday allows, and responsibility keeps piling up. Make a list of everything and mark what you can delegate or postpone. Tell your manager about your workload, with concrete numbers, before you agree to a new project.

Ten of Wands: yes or no

No Not now: you already carry too many commitments, and another yes adds weight. Hand off or cancel one task, then ask again.

Reversed. Maybe You're already learning to drop what's extra. Keep going: let go of one more duty before you take on a new one.

Ask a yes or no question

Ten of Wands as your card of the day

You're carrying too many tasks, and the load is heavy. That makes it clear what you could hand off. List everything on your plate and pass on or postpone at least one item.

Reversed. A load gets lighter when it's shared. Now you can ask for help without feeling guilty. Ask one person today to take on one specific task.

A question for the evening: Which task today could I have shared with someone?
