Yes or no: Yes Reversed: Yes

What's on the card

A naked child with a wreath on the head rides a white horse and carries a large red banner. Behind is a grey brick wall lined with sunflowers, and a huge sun with a face shines over everything.

The Sun upright

The Sun is considered one of the brightest cards in the deck: it speaks of joy, success and clarity. Everything is visible as it is, so decisions come easily. The card is linked to openness, childlike directness and warmth between people. If you're about to present your work, do it in front of people and enjoy it: right now your confidence helps others believe in the idea.

The Sun reversed

The reversed Sun is still a good card, the joy is just muted: tiredness or hurry get in the way, or the result arrives a little later. Don't downplay what has already worked out. Spend twenty minutes outside in daylight and tell someone about one of your wins.

The Sun in love and relationships

In love, The Sun speaks of warmth, mutual feeling and ease: being together feels easy. The card advises a couple to celebrate together, plan time off and not hide their feelings. If you're single, it points to a time when your openness and good mood draw people in.

The Sun in career and money

At work, The Sun shows recognition and a good outcome: the project is working and your effort gets noticed. It's a good time for presentations, interviews and launches. Tell your manager or clients about your achievements concretely, with numbers and examples.

The Sun: yes or no

Yes The clearest yes in the deck. Do what you planned in the open and tell the people who will be glad for you.

Reversed. Yes Still a yes, just with a small delay. Don't drop it over the first hiccup: in a few days things will look clearer.

Ask a yes or no question

The Sun as your card of the day

A bright day for work and for people. Show finished work, invite friends over or spend an hour in the sun: a good mood is easy to share today.

Reversed. The joy is there, but tiredness and rushing hide it. Find half an hour today for something that lifts your mood, and don't save it for the weekend.

A question for the evening: What made me truly glad today?
